Position Summary

CE License for International Freight Vehicle Drivers (TRUCK DRIVERS)

The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe, lawful and efficient transportation of goods within Lithuania and across European Union and international routes.

The driver is expected to operate the assigned truck and trailer professionally, comply with EU and national transport regulations, protect the employer's vehicle and cargo, maintain accurate transport documentation, and communicate effectively with the company's transport and logistics team.

The driver must demonstrate a high level of responsibility, punctuality, road safety awareness and professional conduct.

Hours of Work

In accordance with EU regulations

Instruction

Two weeks and the first driving test upon arriving 

Location of Operations:

West and East Europe (Scandinavia, a few businesses)

Accommodations

During the training session, there may be free shared accommodations, depending on the company. Using the truck's cabin while travelling

Workplace Communications and Conditions: 

  • The company's fleet management software and a tachograph card are used to closely track work and rest periods. 

  • Drivers must adhere to stringent quality standards, be on time, and be neat. 

  • When interacting with other drivers, the administration, and clients—including when loading and unloading—drivers MUST show respect. 

Pay

Depending on experience, EUR 2000–2490

Interaction with the business: 

The required fleet management software is used on a tablet for all communication.

The Lithuanian labour laws will govern all other terms and conditions..

 


Must Have

  • Passport/residence and work authorization documentation where applicable.
  • Other documents required by the employer or competent authorities.
  • Basic English
  • CE Licence
  • 3-years driving experience (Minimum)
  • Understanding of basic vehicle safety checks.
  • Experience operating heavy commercial vehicles.
  • Physical and professional ability to undertake international long-haul driving.
  • Experience with curtain-side, refrigerated, tanker or other specialist trailers.
  • Ability to use or learn digital tachograph systems.
  • Clean professional driving record.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience with articulated trucks.
  • Previous Cross-Border Experience
  • Previous EU/international driving experience.
  • Previous experience with CMR documentation.
  • Another relevant European language.
